Another unique aspect of Horse Ridge Cellars is its air filtration system. This system, which is approved by the Atomic Energy Commission, was originally constructed to provide a fall-out free environment in the event of a nuclear disaster.

The air within the cellar is constantly circulated and filtered with the outside air, providing a clean atmosphere. This system has fantastic wine storage applications since it has the potential to filter out mold spores which, in a high humidity environment, can cause damage to labels.
