For less than a penny a day, customers of Horse Ridge Cellars have access to all of our wine services.

When evaluating Horse Ridge Cellars, it is important to consider all of your wine storage options. In addition to commercial space, wine lovers are limited to building a wine cellar or purchasing a wine refrigerator unit. The expense for building a customized wine cellar can range from $15,000 and up. At this rate a customer could store a case of wine in our facility for over 500 years.

The other alternative is purchasing a refrigerator size wine chest. These range from $1,100 for a 50-bottle unit to about $3,500 for a 500-bottle unit. At these rates, storage at Horse Ridge Cellars would equate to 20 years and 6 years respectively. Please keep in mind that in all of these home storage scenarios insurance, security, and auxiliary equipment are either nonexistent or below par. Not to mention the customer would be without the other services offered by Horse Ridge Cellars.

Storage and Handling

Boxes are stored on customer designed shelving. All wine is required to be placed in cases/packages before delivery to Horse Ridge Cellars and will be stored according to instructions provided by the customer. For customers that require shipping and storage cases, please see the associated fee schedule below. Storage fees are for any size case or box whether full or partially full, with exception of Styrofoam boxes. Please see Styrofoam box policy below. Any box that contains more than 12 750ml bottles will be repacked.

Box Storage Fees

Minimum Number of Boxes/Duration

The minimum storage requirement is 25 boxes and minimum storage duration of 6 months. Any client that has less than 25 boxes or wine in storage less then 6 months will be billed for the minimum requirements.

Handling Fees

A fee of $1.00 per box will be charged for each box received in or removed from the facility. A $1.00 "pulling fee" will be charged for each individual bottle retrieved from a case/package by Horse Ridge Cellars for delivery or customer pick-up.

Inventory Management Fee

All wine will be subject to a $40.00 per hour inventory fee. Additions to existing collections will be billed a minimum of $10.00

Transportation Services

Transportation charges will be quoted upon inquiry. Overnight-and overseas shipping services can be arranged at the customer's expense. On occasion, Horse Ridge Cellars will offer free or discounted delivery/pick-up service based upon frequency and size of the order.

Labor Fees

Any other service provided by Horse Ridge Cellars is $40.00 per hour.

Styrofoam Boxes

All Styrofoam boxes will be repacked into corrugated boxes at a cost of $6.00 per box. If the client wishes to keep their wine in the Styrofoam boxes then the storage fee for each box will be equivalent to two standard boxes.

Shipping/Storage Cases

All other services and fees will be by mutual agreement between the customer and Horse Ridge Cellars.
